Express Diagnostics - Company Overview
Express Diagnostics is now the name for Cardio Analytics medical service provision. Founded in 1994, Cardio Analytics was established to provide an easy access, high quality cardiac investigation service to General Practitioners (GPs), local hospitals and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs). Over the past 13 years the company has experienced considerable commercial expansion, becoming a leading Cardiology service provider for the Clinical Trials industry and creating a state of the art private health clinic for the general public.
The Company’s growth lead to several relocations, until July 2003 when the Company moved to its very own purpose built facility on the Tamar Science Park in Plymouth. Our location, next to Derriford Hospital and the Peninsula Medical School, allows us to be at the very hub of healthcare in the South West as well as being at the centre of Plymouth’s renaissance as a city of science and technology. During its lifetime Cardio Analytics has always maintained a continued and on-going focus on service quality and customer satisfaction.
For a number of years Cardio Analytics has been contracted to supply Cardiology services to our local NHS Primary Care Trusts, enhancing the care of patients throughout the Plymouth and South Hams area. With a diversification into Audiology services the decision was made to give the medical service side of the business its own identity as Express Diagnostics, with the clinical trial element retaining the Cardio Analytics name. One of the services that we carry out for both the NHS and our Clinical Drug Trials clients is Holter ECG application and analysis. Over the past couple of years we have experienced an increasing demand from NHS Primary Care Trusts who are looking for a partner to set up their own community based Holter service. As we are able to offer competitive machine rental rates and provide secure web based file transfer, Express Diagnostics is the perfect partner to help make this happen.
Today’s NHS has to be seen to provide its patients with the best quality service and also to reduce waiting lists. By utilising this model both you and your patients could benefit in many ways, from reduced waiting times to more accurate diagnosis and treatment. Service Information
